Jesse began his career as the Product Director at M&Co under the iron fist of legendary graphic designer Tibor Kalman, and most recently he was a partner in Keena, where he created the New York division and national expansion over a decade ago. Jesse directs the overall strategy and vision at Aesthetic Movement guiding our associates, employees and officers in their daily pursuit of beauty and happiness.
Resident poet/salesman Gus née Kostas Anagnopoulos has spent the last decade as a trusted friend and sales agent to key accounts in New York while pursuing his writing as the founding editor of Insurance Editions. At A/M Gus informs our style direction and product development by scouting new resources, monitoring trends, and guiding the research and development of our forthcoming imprint It Teaches.
Kat directs brand development and identity systems for A/M’s client accounts — both skills that she honed first as a designer at Matsumoto Incorporated on projects with the Guggenheim Museum, Steuben, and Maharam, and later as co-founder of Goodesign, where she was a partner for nine years. Kat currently teaches design at FIT, and has previously taught at both Parsons and NYU.
Diane oversees creative development for our client accounts, focusing on products and packaging. A graduate of Parsons, she collaborated on projects for The New York Times, Vitra, and MoMA as a designer at M&Co, and later on the launch of Lucky Magazine while at number 17. In 2000 Diane co-founded Goodesign, garnering numerous accolades from a long list of design publications as well as the AIGA.
Lisa oversees special design and development projects for A/M. A longtime collaborator and creator of visual content and environments, her career includes both residential and commercial design with notable venues and personalities from coast to coast, and her extensive publication credits include co-creator/editor of List Magazine, producing stories for Condé Nast, and contributing to T Magazine online for The New York Times. Lisa is the editor of the popular online visual blog, smallfires.tumblr.com.
Renata is creating our new Jewelry & Accessories division that will include jewelry, personal accessories, and select clothing. Prior to joining A/M, Renata was a founder of auto, the home, lifestyle and accessories shop that she managed for 10 years in NYC's Meatpacking District. Under her direction, auto became a recognized lab for emerging talent, and a ‘must-stop’ for those seeking to find unique designers and products. Before auto, Renata was an artist representative at Art Department, a photography and illustration agency.
