This summer, SHOPPE OBJECT 3.0 will be unveiled in their exciting new home at Pier 36 on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. This bright, sprawling venue with 20-foot ceilings adjacent to the East River Promenade will allow an expanded Shoppe Object community to exhibit on one broad floor, under one soaring roof. We are beyond thrilled by this opportunity to come into our own in the heart of one of New York’s most progressive and vibrant corners, with stunning views of our beloved bridges, and the new wave of noteworthy hotels, celebrated restaurants, and chic design shops nearby.

This Season’s Artist

Melissa Paré, a Milwaukee based painter and photographer, is the selected artists for our second season. Paré’s piece “Land” was chosen for the Shoppe Object community.

Melissa’s pieces are fueled by an exploration of materials, pattern and visual meditation. She received her MFA from the University of Illinois Chicago and has exhibited her work nationally.
