In August of 2018, Aesthetic Movement and the creators of Capsule launched Shoppe Object — the new, semi-annual independent trade show for the home and gift industry. The A/M Studio created a visual strategy that would communicate the event’s fresh, collective approach to the trade show experience, seeking to attract a community of visionary brands and retailers. Incorporating work from New York artist Sandra Constantine, the Studio designed printed materials, signage, and a marketing campaign for the inaugural event at Metropolitan West in NYC that sought to evoke a spirit of vibrancy and collaboration. The Shoppe Object identity was designed to be crisp and clean, and instantly recognizable as it is adapts to interact with a new artist and color palette each show cycle. Below are selections from the launch of Shoppe Object — view more on the A/M Studio page.

SANDRA CONSTANTINE Aesthetic Movement collaborated with New York artist Sandra Constantine to incorporate one of her pieces into the show’s initial marketing campaign. The original art was adapted to use on Shoppe Object's printed materials, website, and event signage, and the artist was invited to exhibit and sell her work at the premiere show.
Before turning full time to fine art in 2012, Constantine enjoyed a high-profile career in the fashion industry including roles at Bergdorf Goodman and Henri Bendel, and as one of the founding merchants of the women’s store at Barney’s New York. Today Constantine focuses on collage, combing the disciplines of watercolor painting, printmaking, and photography. Her work has been featured in exhibitions at the 92nd Street Y and the National Academy School. She had a solo show in the summer of 2014 at Paper Trail in Rhinebeck, New York, and she participated in Shoppe Object, August 2018. She recently completed a limited edition print, which will be featured in a portfolio for the National Academy School, and her work can also be viewed at Balsamo Antiques and Interior Design.
